FAQs:

What is DressyClub?

DressyClub is a mobile marketplace exclusively for students to buy, rent, or sell clothes within their campus community. It operates on a closed-campus model, ensuring that only students at your university with a valid .edu email address can sign up.

How do pick-ups work?

  1. Request Submission: Once you find an item you're interested in renting or buying, submit a request to the owner.

  2. Approval Process: The owner will review and either accept or reject your request.

  3. Exchange Location: If accepted, communicate via the DressyClub app to coordinate a convenient on-campus location for the item exchange. No shipping is required!

How do exchanges work?

After the seller accepts a sale, both the seller and the buyer/renter and entered into a chat where they can agree on a time and place on campus to meet up. The buyer/renter will be provided a pin that they should give to the seller upon item pickup.

The seller and buyer are both expected to show up on time, and if they do not do so they will incur a late fee. Late fees are designed to compensate the other party for time spent waiting.

What if my item is damaged on a rental?

All items that are available for rent also display a replacement fee price that will be charged to the renter if the item is significantly damaged. If an item is damaged the seller should contact DressyClub to start the process for their replacement fee.

Can I return items?

After an item has been picked up, the buyer/renter has three hours to select that they would like to return the item. After the buyer/renter has selected that they would like to return the item, they will have 24 hours to return the item.

If no action is taken for three hours after a pickup, DressyClub will assume the user does not wish to return the item.

How long do rentals last?

Duration: Rentals span from 2 to 10 days (or 1 to 9 nights), with the listed price covering the entire rental period.

Closed campus?

Only users with a confirmed university email address may create a profile on the app. Additionally, students will only be able to see items from their fellow students on their respective campuses.

  2. Transaction Fees: Earnings are subject to a credit card processing fee of 2.9% plus 10 cents per transaction.

What is the Late Return Policy?
